i am a Lead Game Developer with 12 years of experience, mostly in Unity with C#. what that role means generally is that i am responsible for turning design and art into a complete product within the Unity editor, using any and all tools available to me. the job involves, but is not limited to:

i am also used to being involved in the brainstorming, design, and prototyping phases of development, into which i bring a lifetime of gaming experience, formal design education, and technical understanding. i firmly believe programmers should be involved early in this process both for their benefit (in understanding what they'll ultimately be building) and for the benefit of the product (in being there to raise flags about scope, feasibility, and complexity).
in addition to game development, i've had the opportunity to learn many other things during my years in the industry, including:

my role as lead developer began in 2020 and introduced some new responsibilities to my daily job. i became much more involved with the product and project management side of things, as well as mentoring and supporting junior developers. i'm familiar and comfortable with team management (particularly Scrum-mastering), client communications, product strategy, product presentation, scope management, and more.
